UK Highways Sector

Neil joined the family business, Alad Ltd, in late 1995 as a sales executive on Highways magazine which at the time was a struggling title acquired from EMAP Construct.

The first issue in September 1995 had revenue of £5700 in the issue. In the intervening years between then and the sale of the brand to Hemming Group in 2016 Neil had guided the magazine to be part of a triple million pound turnover business which included the Highways Magazine Excellence Awards, Highways on Fridays, Smart Highways, 7Days in ITS and Seeing is Believing (now Traffex Live).

With unrivalled contacts within the UK highway sector, Neil is now providing consultancy services to past clients who are looking at bringing products and services to market and require business strategy, mentoring and project consultancy work.
